About Me

I have spent my working life in one way or another being in contact with stone.

I trained as a monumental mason (Letter cutter) at the city of Bath college. Where I trained in the art of letter forms, hand cutting letters in many types of stone and also creating decorative carvings for the use on memorials. These days I seem to spend more time carving as I enjoy the challenge seeing how I can push myself and where the carving will go.

My journey over the years has seen me work on many different projects. And I have always had a keen interest in working in stone and have been inspired by masons of the past and present. The sheer talent and skill that goes into the work and what was acheived in the past with physical hardworking and primitive tools.
